About Event

Set in 2050, ‘Sanctuary’ follows the life of a middle aged couple as they differ on the impact technology is having on their lives following a government mandate that all citizens get the citizen chip that would allow them access to government services. Unknowingly they bring home a new piece of tech that is bound to 
wedge their differences even deeper as they come to terms with the deep love yet deep incompatibility
they experience for each other.

The play explores themes around love, technophobia, alienation and government control while navigating relationships during a societal collapse. 

A heart wrenching thought provoking SciFi ROMANCE play - starring Joyce Musoke & Martin Kigondu directed by Santa Mukabanah.
